John Resig, CSH alumnus and creator of the popular jQuery Javascript library, will be visiting RIT on May 8th to present a seminar on some interesting new features of next-gen web browsers currently in development.
Though John is best known for his work on jQuery, he is also the author of several other useful Javascript libraries, including Processing.js and Sizzle. During his time here at CSH, he created the RIT Schedule Maker, still used by thousands of students every quarter.
John's talk on the features of next-gen web browsers will take place on Friday, May 8th, at 4:00pm in the GCCIS auditorium (room 70-1400). We hope to see you there!
