Over a dozen CSH members and alumni (along with 100+ other attendees!) are gearing up for BarCamp Rochester #5, the day-long "unconference" where technically-inclined people teach each other what they know! CSH has been heavily involved with BarCamp Rochester since its inception, and is a top sponsor of this year's event. It will take place on Saturday, April 3rd, right here on RIT's campus in Building 70.
What is BarCamp? BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees. Though originally focused on IT, presenters can give a talk about absolutely anything they are interested in. You don't have to be an expert: you just have to be passionate about something!
Sign up and check out the current list of presenters at the BarCamp Rochester web site, and remember: There are no spectators, only participants!
