You manage to back off him and jump backwards, thus losing ground but
preparing you for your next manuever. You recall one of the beginning
scenes in The Matrix where Trinity jumps up and time freezes, and she
then kicks the hell out of the officers standing there.
Baring all elements of physics, you jump up and fold your legs behind
you, arms outstretched. You freeze in midair and prepare your kick.
The camera pans around you and James while action slows to a crawl.
Finally, at the right time, you kick.
James, a quick one, catches your kick. Hmm. Maybe if you had been a bit
faster. Nonetheless, gravity returns and you're sent sprawling towards
the ground, although James is still hanging onto your leg. Not being
able to withstand being bent in such a fashion, your leg snaps in two.
Now in great pain, you can see the blood gushing out of your body
via your thigh.
James, still holding your leg, picks your screaming body up over his
shoulder and drops you gently on the tile floor in the shower.
As your surroundings become darker and darker, the last thing you see is
James saying, "Guess what? Did you win? No, no you didn't win. Who won,
then? Well, since you didn't win, I guess *I* won. Wow. Imagine
that." Too bad, huh? And besides a missing leg and missing blood,
you're also missing a yearbook. Loser.
