Wireless Security

Description

In this project I setup wireless security end-to-end. Supported clients include Mac OSX 10.3 and newer, Windows 2000/XP, and Linux/Unix/BSD where appropriate drivers are available.

Configuration

Clients:
Windows clients use third party software provided by card manufacturers, or SecureW2 with the windows client. Mac users use the built in wireless software. Linux/Unix/BSD users use XSupplicant or WPASupplicant.

Access Points:
The wireless access points are configured to use TKIP encryption with EAP authentication against the RADIUS server.

RADIUS Server:
The RADIUS server runs freeRADIUS. The RADIUS server is configured to allow EAP-TTLS and EAP-PEAP-GTC. It receives authentication requests from the access points and validates the users against our kerberos password database.
