        It was with some sadness that 
        we finally located the final 
        resting place of Brick's mother.
        
        The shame of an interracial affair
        with Brick's father drove the young 
        debutant out of her family's 
        mansion.  Her only option was to find 
        employment to support herself and 
        her young child.  Unable to afford 
        retirement, she continues he her work
        at Mt. Hope Cemetery to this day.
