HLAH_A1.mp3 Head Like A Hole (Earth Alpha 1) [Nine Inch Nails] This is the first version of my Earth Mix, it's got the same template as the next track with a few differences. I felt I could do better than my Castle Mix from 3 years ago. I actually have a real piece of software. (Cool Edit 96 running on my 486, as opposed to USS running on my 386. - the entire new mix took 2 hours to make, while the old one took an entire day's worth of work. USS was really bad with backing up files as you made little edits. (backing up 60+meg files on a 386 is hell)) Cool Edit is amazing for this kind of work... The original Castle 2.0 mix had about 5 edit points in it, most of which you can hear - beats didn't line up. This one has about 25 edit points, all of which are seamless. (for the most part.) >> Not available on this machine << HLAH_A2.mp3 Head Like A Hole (Earth Alpha 2) [Nine Inch Nails] Same as the above, but with the added in "You know who you are" sample from the Opal mix of Head Like A Hole. It was used in 2 places in the song; the beginning, and at 5:07 in. Unfortunately, the MP3 compression broke the later bit. You can almost hear it in there, but it sounds like it's underwater. >> Not available at all << HLAH_Earth_Mix.mp3 Head Like A Hole (Earth Mix) [Nine Inch Nails] I wanted the remix to sound good with mp3 compression, and quite frankly, the timing on the second set of "you know who you are"'s in the previous mix was horrible. I re-built the entire ending from 5:07 on, only keepning the very ending. I kinda miss having another round of "head like a hole" in there, but the song is a lot shorter, which is good. 128 kbps, 44.1 khz, stereo (6:22)
