DVD Coverart

Eraserhead

This coverart was created as a supplemental piece for the 8x8x2 inch box that the DVD comes in. Title text was repositioned on the front and the 'DVD 2000' text was removed from from and spine. To be consistent with the Short Films disc, the signature and large David Lynch text were added. Two seemed-together images and the 'in heaven' circle complete the piece.

This coverart, like the Eraserhead coverart, was created as a supplemental piece for the 8x8x2 inch box that the DVD comes in. The front and binding look basically the same except for the repositioning of the text on the front to fit the narrower case. On the back I added the titles and images of each short and a brief description of the DVD.

Industrial Symphony no.1

Unlike the previous DVD coverarts that I redesigned, this one doesn'at have an offical release, i.e. it's not available on DVD. The film is available on VHS and Laserdisc however. So it was from those two offical releases that I created the coverart. If I recall, the coverart matches the Laserdisc release more than the VHS release.

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me

My main goal with this custom cover was to include the image of the ring, due to its large role in the film. By using the 'dead Laura' image in the background, I felt that this tied the movie into the DVD set more. I also changed/updated the character photos on the back, and the text description was fixed (the old one was actually incorrect in a few of the points it stated).

Twin Peaks: The Pilot Episode

My first custom DVD coverart was for my first DVD. The front and spine are very similar to the ones on the first season DVD boxset (the US version of which does not include the pilot episode). The addition of a necklace and the torn photo revealing the blue photo underneath was added to keep the pilot coverart distinct. The back is completely new and features test rewritten for accuracy.
