Kevin Kochersberger & the Wright Brothers

This site was my little baby. I was the researcher, writer, designer and implementor. The most interesting and fun part of this site was creating the timeline that highlights key dates for the Wright brothers. Kevin is the man who was to fly a replica of the Wright brothers' 1903 flyer at the centennial of flight celebration. Unfortunately, weather caused the flight to not happen.

Student Life @ RIT

This site started off being for people who were accepted to RIT but had not yet enrolled. To get them to enroll, we wanted to show them one last time how unique RIT is. Knowing the site was good, I suggested that it be submitted to the Council for Advancement and Support of Education's national competition. We ended up receiving a silver medal! It was selected from 154 entries.

Alpha Kappa Phi Sorority: Alpha Chapter

My co-worker Mary is an alumnae of this sorority. It needed a better web presence, especially becasue it's the alpha chapter. From discussions with Mary, I was informed that water, yellow roses, and pearls were three things that are symbolic to the sorority. Using those elements, I created a quick design, and they loved it. Mary did all of the content populating.

RIT Office of Financial Aid

The focus on improving this site was more on structure and ease of use than on the look and feel. Thus we used a generic design. The content was completely reorganized, and I even created different "tracks" for different student types to help walk people through the sometimes difficult process of applying for financial aid. Phase 2 is to improve the design and is not yet completed.

RIT National Technology Training Center

This was one of the first websites that I was allowed to structure and design myself. I think I did quite a good job. Structurally, it posed an interesting dilemma; one umbrella organization housed 2 smaller organizations. The two smaller organizations were where the bulk of the content would be located. The site has changed now, but I'm still proud of creating a site where one didn't exist.

RIT Special Interest Housing Association

As a member of Computer Science House, which is part of the Special Interest Housing Association, I redesigned this site to give it a more polished/professional look. I never really pushed to get the site up tho, so the project fell by the wayside. Two years later, interest in updating the SIHA site by a fellow house member caused me to revisit, finish, and go live with the site.
