		Donation Information
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Donations are always very welcome, and will go towards buying time
or equipment to continue future work on this and related projects
(Shag/OS, Shag/OS device drivers, SOLO, CParse, DECO, Elf32, fconfig, etc...)

Currently, I receive no compensation for any part of this work other than
what is freely given. Therefore any and all donations will help to
increase my ability to work on these projects, and I will try my best
to return the favor by providing more software support (bug fixes, new
features, documentation, etc) for those who help me out. So, when donating,
let me know which software or features you have the most interest in.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Monetary donations:

For every monetary donation I receive, unless you specify otherwise,
20% will be donated to the following non-profit organization:

	The Environmental Defense Fund (EDF)
	1875 Connecticut Avenue NW
	PO Box 96969
	Washington, DC 20077-7254

	The Nature Conservancy
	Department 79181
	Baltimore, MD 21279-0181

	The National Audubon Society
	200 Trillium Lane
	Albany, NY 12203-3818

	Greenpeace
	1436 U Street N.W.
	P.O. Box 96128
	Washington, D.C. 20090

The Peace Network (Citizens For a United Earth)
	1880 Route 64
	Ionia, NY 14475

If you wish to specify that a larger or smaller percent is donated to
these organizations, or if you wish to specify what percentage goes to which
organizations, please include that information along with your donation.
Please do not specify over 50% combined total to these organizations, however,
as any amounts above that may not be honored, since donations of more
then half the total should be sent directly to these organizations.

Feel free to also directly send contributions to all of these worthy causes,
to help make our planet one that continues to be worth living on.

Equipment:

Equipment donations are gladly accepted, but I would prefer that you
contact me first to make sure that what you are sending is something
that I can make use of and don't already have.

On a related note, I should probably mention that I currently only
have a 386sx machine ("snail") and a 486dx machine ("moose" -- and
I don't really own this machine yet...) so I can't really test my code
on newer Pentium or Pentium Pro machines. I also don't have any
PCI or plug&play boards (or a motherboard with PCI slots)

I also don't have any SCSI equipment, or SCSI interface boards, although
I would like my software to support them.

(Oh, and if anyone has any extra 30-pin SIMMs that they don't need
anymore, those would be useful too...)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Books and Technical information:

If you have books or technical information you could donate
that you feel would be helpful to me in implementing new
features of my software, (hardware manuals, operating systems,
networking, CPU books, technical information about interfacing
with other systems, etc) let me know, so I can tell you if I can
use it. If you just send it, and I can't use it, or I already have
it, then I will just pass it on to someone else, or donate it
to the technical library of Computer Science House at R.I.T.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Time/Effort:

Donations of time and effort towards improving this code and its
documentation are also welcome, although I can't guarantee that all
such code and documentation will make it into a future release.
(That doesn't mean you can't still make your code or documentation
available separately, either as patches, or as part of a full release
of your own, as long as all of my licensing information is still
enclosed to cover my code in your release)

If people contribute source code or documentation which I include
with future releases of this project, and any significant monetary
donations are received, or if any individual or organization licenses
this code from me for commercial purposes, I will make sure that the
other authors involved are also compensated for their work. You may, of
course, specifically request that your portion of the code is not to
be licensed for any commercial purposes, in which case you should
include your own licensing agreement, either contained in the code,
or separately, and with a reference to it in your code.
Under these circumstances, any future licensing that occurs with any part
of the distribution will not apply to your code, which will, of course,
be subject to the terms you apply.
