This is my webpage dedicated to the Golden Avenger: Iron Man, as well
as the other Marvel Universe and Sci-Fi heroes I admired in my childhood.
Along the way there is even a little about me and where I grew up. Have a
look around and enjoy.
I guess I'll begin with where I was born: The Big Apple. I lived here until I was old enought to start school.
Then I ended up in the Carolinas(see the picture of Myrtle beach, SC) This is where I really grew up.
After that I ended up in the
nation's capital
Now back to my comic book heroes. Of course we know that NYC is home to our
favorite web crawler(no pun intended),
SpiderMan seen here atop one
of NYC's many sky scrapers. Most of of know the story of the web
slinger. A teenager bitten by a radioactive spider giving him special
powers. What some may have forgotten was that Spidey was a
scientist too. I admired that, it's why he was my childhood hero.
Representing the south we turn to my favorite XMEN character
Gambit
the Ragin Cajun(Ok I'm not from New Orleans nor have I been there but
Louisiana is still south and this guy is just cool!
Now for someone who does represents the Carolinas
Rogue.
This Southern Belle
is more than just a pretty face and a hard body. She can absorb her enemies powers, fly, and is almost indestructible. Ok, obviously she's not my idol but
she's gorgious and she's a very strong woman in more ways than one. What can
beauty and brawn in one package.....It's my dream girl.
Needless to say I am a trekkie(See Zefram Cocharan's(the father of the warp drive's star ship). Star Trek has always been fascinating to me
becuase it is the most scientifically accurate piece of science fiction
out there(Ok save the aliens who all basically look human accept for the crazy
foreheads). Star Trek encouraged me to pursue a career in technology....yes
as geeky as it sounds. But on a more serious not, I am very serious about
real science. So take a look at the links on the left for real bleeding
edge stuff.
