Okay, here's the answer, Ton...
Once upon a time, there was a magical group called the Society for
the Furtherment of Levity. They had meetings. Through the powers that
be, it was deemed that The Society should have a computer conference,
and LEV_SOCIETY was born.
Unfortunately, due to political reasons (and also because all the
key members moved away), the Parent Group faded, causing the Computer
Conference to become predominant.
That is why the LEV meetings ceased to be.
As to reviving them, it seems that all the remaining members of
that Group are here... we ARE the Society for the Furtherment of Levity
for all intensive purposes. In LEV_SOCIETY, there are no leaders, so
in other words, if you want meetings, you must initiate the process
yourself.
Suggestions for possible Meeting Times and Topics of Interest can
be posted in LEV_94.
Also, realize that an Official LEV meeting can be anything... a
dinner get-together, a mini-golf run, anything. The only qualifier for
an "official" meeting is that it be posted so that all who wish to
attend may.
So all those who would like to see the Meetings revived, please
post your 2 cents in LEV 94.

be on campus in the Ritz. The date is yet to be made but will be some

are interested in doing this again, then we can try for a real party
(haven't forgeten :) ) and then maybe field trips to various
destinations around town.
Second, since people are now giving input. I've decided that maybe
trying two times. How about Wednesday at 5:00? If you can't make that
time complain again. Also, if most people can make the Wednesday time,
I'll drop the Thursday time. However, BOTH TIMES ARE NOW BOTH VALID!!!
