My first two dates were pretty awful.
My first date was in high school with this guy named Paul. We
went to the movies. During the whole date, he spoke to me three times.
Only three. One of the times, though, he mentioned being "property of
the state". Out of curiosity, I looked him up in the police index at
work.... he was in a youth work camp (prison alternative) program.
My second was with a guy named Pat... we met over the VAX last year...
He tried to impress me by belching loudly. It didn't work.

movie sure killed the mood, not that there was any to begin with.

My worst date was my prom night. I really didn't want to go but since
my parents, their friends and the people across the street were so
excited about it, I figured I'd humor them. And of course no one in
high school wanted to go out with me, so I wound up going with a friend
from another school who graduated a year ahead of me. I kind of
assumed that we both knew we were going "as friends" because I also
didn't have any romatic interests at that time (or interest in romance,
for that matter).
My father drove us (yep, we arrived in style) and he spent the whole
ride talking to my father about football... then when we got there, we
went up for ONE dance (because it was at that point that he had his
hands all over the place and tried to force me to kiss him..ech!) and
then I didn't want to dance anymore, so I wound up talking to my best
friend's boyfriend while my friend and my date danced the night away...
afterwards my father kinda forgot to pick us up so we were waiting on a
bench outside the ballroom looking totally pathetic and he tries to
make another move on me.....
Well, you kinda had to be there.. It was grossing me out. Totally
turned me off.

I've only had one real date... and that was rather nice, save for the
fact that i had a terrible cold and could do nothing more than hold his
hand...
but, i guess one of my worst experiences was going to this party where
i knew this one guy would be there, and he was all nice and flirtatious
and paying me all kinds of attention, until some of his friends decided
to go upstairs and Bailan con El Diablo ( dance with the devil, i know
it isn't in proper tense and i really don't care... i don't feel like
being gram. correct right now) anyway... they came down about an hour
later, and he totally forgot i existed. i went upstairs at the end of
the night to get my jacket, and i walked in on him and some dizzy
blonde cheerleader skank making out on the bed. They didn't notice me
cause the lights were off and the music was playing, but i know it was
him because i heard him say something to her and she called out his
name... needless to say, i was just a wee bit annoyed... and refused to
speak to him for aobut 3 months... then i went to college... not to say
that any of the fraternity boys are much better, just more subtle.

My worst date was for my prom. No one asked me to go (well, one guy
who looked like Mickey Mouse did, and when I said I'd think about it
(yes I was getting desperate) he bragged to the whole school that I
couldn't wait to go with him. Basically, I told him what he could do
with himself). I asked my friend who was 14 years old to go with me
(he looked older). He had a curfew at 12 so while I was dancing away,
my parents would have to come retreive him and take him home so that I
can go to the afterparty (I hung out at 3 clubs and the seaport and
went back to school. I got home at 12 pm the next day, dead tired, to
a mother who wanted to hear ALL the details right away).
To start off, my date brought me a corsage that had just been painted,
so I spent a better part of the night getting high. Then, all he could
dance was the tango (I had one of my friend dance with him more).
Then, one time when we were slow dancing, he tilts my face up and
says..."What would happen if I kissed you"? Horrified, I
stammered..."You'd better not!". He say's "Why not?" I said "Because
it will mess up the friendship we have!" He looks at me, draws me
close, onion breath and says "How do you know? It might make things
better!" "Moooommmmm" I ran to the phone to call my mom to ask her
to come get him soon, and told her he was hitting on me (he was all
hands the rest of the night...I damn near broke it!). I told her what
was happening, do you think she was empathetic? She tells me to make
it a night to remember for him (she was laughing her butt off). She
kept saying "Kiss him! Make a man out of him!"
Sigh...needless to say, when they picked him up...I jumped into my God
father's limo and took off!

I think my worst was when I'd picked up this girl I'd wanted to ask
for nearly a year but took that long to get up the nerve. I was floored
when she said yes, and lived in anticipation for 2 weeks, and when I
got there she was half-trashed and we went out to eat and she kept
saying "No Problem!" over and over again and inbetween trashed
Rochester (which I happen to like - I've lived here 28 years, if I
hated it I'da been long gone). I ended up rushing her home and leaving
a cloud of dust while she had her eyes closed expecting a goodnight

My worst date....was with a girl named Rachel. She was kinda heavy
(but I didn't think that would matter), and we went to the movies. I
can't even remember what we saw. We went out to eat after. All she
could talk about was the fact that I was the first man she had ever
gone out with, that drank milk on the date. It didn't seem like such a
big deal for me, I was thirsty and soda/pop didn't appeal to me then.
After we eat (the conversation wasn't that good) she wanted to go
someplace where we could "talk". I made up some phoney excuse about
having to take the train into NYC early in the morning. She was sad,
and later told me that she was glad I didn't take advantage of the fact
that she feels she has to get physical with a guy before she can get to
know him.
She almost crushed me giving me a good night kiss.

I've really only had one bad date. A while ago (before I met my
current SO) I was seeing a girl whom I had known during my childhood
who I recently met again. We kinda hung out a few times, and she was
kinda quiet. I kept saying "My GOD, but she's boring." And Pookie
would pipe up "Oh, she's just shy...get to know her better." well, we
ended up going to Darien Lake with a friend of hers, (three in all) and
she hardly said a goddam word all day/night. Her friend was like
"Geez, would you TALK??"
Needless to say, it seemed like the day would never end. I was
glad that I used to work there and knew some of the people, thus
getting a break from having to be NEAR her. (She was damn cute
too...just a friggin bore)

Jeff is my friend... and ALL are worthy of my respect, each one of you,
when have I judged you badly? I have, on occasion, acted in bad
judgement, but I try hard to fix my mistakes. And I hope none of you
would accuse me of not making an effort to keep good relations.
You are all my friends, and this subtle (or not so subtle)
attacking should not be happening here. I had to listen to an entire
conversation today about all the bad things certain people
(unmentioned) want to do to Jeff... for 40 minutes! I said nothing,
for I would not have been heard there, but all of those people know how
I feel. That is the outside. I have no right to force them to be
kind. But this Conference is a haven... where all may post in peace,
without fear of being attacked.
Have you never felt cornered? Never felt that everyone was out to
tear you up for a laugh, or critisize you? How did you feel? And this
is what you propogate? How can you do these things, so deliberately,
when you have been that person at one time or another?
Have you never felt alone?
Everyone is welcome here. Everyone who seeks acceptance here shall
find it. Can you not set aside your personal differences in just this
one place?

I remember one date when I was 15. It was horrible. The guy seemed
nice to my folks, but then he was all hands. I ended up kicking him
where the sun don't shine, and taking the subway back home at 2 am.

Well, my prom was pretty much my only date. Except if you count that
Christmas dance Sophomore year.... I followed this guy around because
he was the only one I knew, and then he had to leave because he was
playing Santa Claus, and it was time to take pictures. Then I found a
few other friends there, and wound up turning this guy on.... he was a
heavy metal freak, long hair and biker jacket (and the boots to match)
I didn't think much of it, but then the next day he shows up at my
house to visit. ech!

And another date I just thought of was (well it was sort of a date)
with this guy who lived on my floor freshman year. He really liked me
but didn't want to admit it. Anyway, he got tickets to this banquet
for some boring-as-all-$%$ club on campus that was at a really fancy
restaurant downtown. So it was me, him and his best buddy Jeff (Jeff's
girlfriend bailed out at the last minute) The whole date he was
telling me how to act. Jeff ordered beer and then Jeff (my date) got
one (even though they were both underage) and Jeff leans over and
sprays into my ear: "don't get any"... then the waiter came around
asking what we wanted to eat (it was one of those two-choice dinners)
and he tells me (with this reassuring look) "Order the Chicken. you
won't like the other stuff" Then he was telling me what to put in my
coffee.. sheesh... eventually we all got bored with each other and the
people in the club started giving speeches so we snook out during an
intermission.

My worst date was a blind one (they don't get much worse than that).
My friend and his girlfriend decided a double date would be in order
for their friends. My friend, J. Carnage (handle), toldme she was a
great person, although, he admitted later, he had never actually met
her.
Anyway, her name was, no joke, Emily LaMare, which means the horse in
Italian. I wished she looked that good.
Anyway, not being a superficial person, I decided that I'd get to know
her anyway.
Big Mistake.
Turns out this girl felt she was a supermodel and she was above
everybody. She made fun of everyone we saw and poked fun at Carnage
too.
She had the body of a horse, the breath of a llama ( :) ), the
personality of a snob, and the IQ slightly less than a grapefruit.
But other than that, the date went fine.
Except she wanted a goodnight kiss and a phone number.
She got neither, though.

Let's see worst date. Never really had a bad date. Things always seem
to fall apart somewhere else. And what I consider my worst would
probably be considered ok by others, well thinking about it, it sort
