The Adventures of Lolo Clone

 
Description
          This is game takes directly after the old NES game The Adventures of Lolo except rendered in OpenGL. Paraphrasing, the game is a top down view where the player controls a blue ball like creature called Lolo to retrieve all the hearts in a level and then get the pearl inside a chest. The Adventures of Lolo featured some amazing puzzles that would take a lot of concentration and satisfaction when (if) it was finally solved.

This game is my learning experience for a great deal of new features. I studied lex and yacc to parse text files and implemented projection shadows using the OpenGL stencil buffer. Finally, I read several tutorials at NEHE and after a couple hours work implemented multi-textured bump mapping.

It is written C++ and designed using object orient principles such as inheritance and polymorphism.
