The pictures on the following pages show a very beautiful and serene place. Tuckerman's Ravine is a winter wonderland for adventure seekers in the Northeast United States. At times Mt. Washington is a gentle glistening wonder, but at other times a ferocious avenger who doesn't take kindly to its victims. Since records have been kept, Mt Washington has claimed over 150 lives.
