Geisel's Galavanting

Switzerland '01

In early 2001 I didn't even own a passport. Seeing the world seemed to involve an atlas, or a plastic globe. I decieded, enough is enough. In December of 2001, Bill Pavleski and I decided to hop a plane to Switzerland, what a wonderful idea. Thus begins the saga of Our Trip to Switzerland.
This is skiing with a view!

H2O Youth Pastor's Conference '02

Switzerland was great, but I don't get out too much, so I figured it was far from enough (ironic, since I just finished deciding "enough is enough"). So I decided to forego another week of work for a Dean Hawk Ministries' H2O Youth Pastor's Conference. Conviniently, the conference was held (part of the time) at Breckenridge. How pleasant of Dean. As it turned out, the only thing better than the skiing was the conference.

Whilstler, Canada '02

My earlier trips were good, but as it panned out, I didn't quite get in the skiing I wanted. Hoping to aid that, I waited until early March to head to Whistler Blackcomb, British Columbia. While this time only to Canada, it was another enjoyable trip out of the country. Quite the contrast of our low-budget Switzerland trip, my Father and I managed to hang in 5-star resorts and resturaunts. It was an appreciated contrast. As it turns out, this trip was the best skiing I found all year!

Chile / Argentina '06

The Pacific Coast from Viña del Mar
Again in 2006 I decided I needed a break, so off to South America I headed. I spent a week between Santiago, Chile, and Mendoza and Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was shorter than the Switzerland Trip and somewhat more adventurous. Soon to come is the "I almost died thrice" story. For now, pictures.
