I went to the Louvre one of the days while Hannah was at work.
I didn't get to see too much of it. What I saw was pretty nice.
But, I prefered the Musée d'Orsay. It had a much higher
concentration of the kind of stuff I enjoy. Additionally,
I had no trouble leaving the Musée d'Orsay. I am pretty good
with spatial relations. The Louvre is not. I should have just
back-tracked to get out of the Louvre. But, I figured I may as
well see more stuff on my way out. Getting out of the Louvre
took me about 40 minutes of going up and down staircases I would
rather not have had to use, running into dead ends that were put
there just to annoy me, following the sparsely placed (and often
blatantly wrong) Sortie signs, and seeking the advice of
the also sparsely placed (and often blatantly wrong) attendants.
If you are not spatially minded, I highly recommend tying one
end of a ball of twine to the ticket booth and only going as
far as your tether will take you. 8^).
