Kohan AI Editor

This AI editor is designed to create and modify an AI player for the PC game called Kohan, developed by the people at Timegate Studios.  After this is accomplished, a statistics feature will be incorporated into the editor, followed by an AI for the editor that will attempt to learn how to play the game better and create new AIs for the game, reflecting what it has learned.  The editor will eventually be expanded to cover their other games created by Timegate.

Phase 1:  Create a GUI that will allow a person to create or modify an AI entity that plays the game.
Phase 2:  Find a way to keep stats on the game and the players.
Phase 3:  Create an AI for the AI editor that will be able to create AI entities and learn how to play better through experience.
Phase 4:  Repeat from phase 1 with another of Timegate's games (Kohan 2 or Axis & Allies)

If you have never heard of Kohan, it is a real-time strategy game.  The graphics are not that great (2D top down), but I have seen the AI do some phenomenal things that I would only expect a human to do.  It is fairly easy to beat the AI on hard, one-on-one, but it is still a great game and especially entertaining when playing with one or two friends and having the AI gang up against you in multiplayer mode.  Timegate created a sequel to Kohan, aptly named Kohan 2.  Some changes were made to the game dynamics and I personally did not like the changes (the main one being that the towns could only be settled in certain areas), but the AI was still as strong as ever with some upgrades.  Also Kohan 2 was 3D which made for a more visually pleasant game.  Timegate released Axis & Allies around the same time as Kohan 2.  What faults fell upon Kohan 2, Axis & Allies made up for them.  I am not saying Axis & Allies is not without its faults, but it delivered what I thought Kohan 2 was going to deliver.  Overall, Timegate delivers topnotch AI in their games, and I cannot praise them enough for what they have done thus far.
