Description:
  • Web Design/User Interface
    Designed the entire site from scratch, including site navigation, User Interface, logo design, and button creation.
  • Development/Implementation
    Coded the entire front end of a PHP based site (100+ pages), including Style Sheets, JavaScript, and basic PHP coding. Currently integrating back end functionality with my User Interface for the launch in May.

Company: Elance Inc.

Description:
  • 35% - Implementation
    For the redesign of the entire Elance's Corporate Site, I was responsible for re-coding pages, style sheets, and modifying CGI for a large portion of the site.
    Implemented new features, such as the user polls and additional functionality for Elancers' portfolios.
  • 30% - Bug Fixes
    Fixed bug fixes that QA flagged for the live site. Tested pages for browser compatibility for Netscape 4/6, IE, Opera, and Macs during production.
  • 20% Maintenance
    Content updating, consistency of style guidelines, and eliminating hard coded links.
  • 10% Editing
    Edited web pages outsourced to Elancers for style and consistency, browser problems, and hard coded links.
  • 5% Design
    Worked with Product Management to design different HTML emails targeted for the Elance customers.

Company: IBM - alphaWorks

Description:
  • 5% - Planning
    Figuring out how to incorporate the old content with new site design.
  • 10% - Usability
    It was a huge concern that the users wouldn't be able to access the info they need. Focused on results from usability groups that navigated the wire frames.
  • 75% - Implementation
    Implemented several different versions of the alphaWorks main and subsequent level pages. This includes intricate tables and style guides, as well as cross-browser code.
  • 10% - Design
    Included my own design elements in the coding of the pages.
